Thermoplanter
Please click on the Eddies Aquarium to view a display garden using two Thermoplanters planted with a Queen of Siam day blooming tropical lily and a Sturtevanti Night bloomer. These plants were placed in this pond in early May in a zone 5 upstate NY region. The Sturtevanti was in full bloom on June 13th and about 6 feet across in length. Normal time period for placing tropicals outdoors in Latham, NY, would be about June 15th. Plants this large would never be possible in this growing zone this early in the season and some years night bloomers do not flower at all.
